CyberAtlas (enhanced version)

I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with the little pop-up window.
The pop-up map will follow you as you jump from link to link in the main window. The pop-up available from the CyberAtlas home offers an overview of the CyberAtlas site. Once you choose to explore a specific map from the CyberAtlas home page, the pop-up then displays that map in a smaller, scrollable version.

The pop-up map keeps getting in the way of seeing the main window.
You can close the little window containing the pop-up map at any time. To reopen it, just click on the title (OVERVIEW, ELECTRIC SKY, or INTELLIGENT LIFE) along the left-hand edge of the main window. In Mac OS8, you can also minimize the pop-up window by dragging it to the bottom of your screen; in Windows95, you can minimize it by clicking on the little horizontal bar in the window's upper left corner. And of course you can move the pop-up window wherever you like on the screen.

I didn't get a pop-up window at all.
Make sure that "Enable Javascript" is checked in your browser's preferences menu.

I keep getting JavaScript error messages.
This site is optimized for Netscape 3.0 or later. If you have an older browser, or if you start opening and closing too many windows at once, you may get occasional error messages. In addition, Internet Explorer 3.0 and 4.0 are not quite fully compatible with JavaScript 1.1, and sometimes generate error messages. If errors persist, try reloading the original CyberAtlas home. (You can do this at any time by clicking on the CA logo at upper left.) Or, if you don't have Netscape 3.0 or better, you can view a simplified version of CyberAtlas that doesn't use any JavaScript.

I have a question not answered on this page.
Please pass on any questions or bugs you encounter to jippolito@guggenheim.org. Thanks!
